The FN-TRAN-QSFP+SR-BCC is a drop-in compatible replacement for the Fortinet FN-TRAN-QSFP+SR. This transceiver delivers plug-and-play 40 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity in systems with QSFP+ and QSFP28 slots from Fortinet.- IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4 compliant, guaranteeing interoperability with all standard 40GBASE-SR4 interfaces across multi-vendor environments- QSFP+ form factor with MPO-12 connector, four parallel lanes at 850nm wavelength, each operating at 10.3125 Gbps for 40 Gbps aggregated throughput- 150m reach over OM4 multi-mode fibre (100m over OM3), using four-channel VCSEL array transmitter and PIN photodiode receiver- DOM support via I2C interface provides real-time monitoring of optical power, temperature, bias current, and supply voltage per QSFP+ MSA specification- Hot-swappable design enables installation and removal without system interruption, operating temperature range 0 to 70 degrees C- Tested in Sydney to confirm Fortinet QSFP+ and QSFP28 slot compatibility
