This passive copper twinax cable provides plug-and-play connectivity between SFP28 ports on Arista switches and other equipment supporting 25GBASE-CR1.- Meets IEEE 802.3by 25GBASE-CR1 and SFP28 MSA SFF-8432 standards, ensuring interoperability with any vendor platform supporting these specifications- SFP28 form factor delivering 25 Gb/s data rate over passive copper twinax for short-range links up to 5 meters- Dual-rate capable: supports both 25G and 10G operation on compatible host ports- Available in six lengths: 1M, 1.5M, 2M, 2.5M, 3M, and 5M to suit intra-rack and adjacent-rack connectivity- FEC requirements vary by length: 1M to 2M operate without FEC, 2.5M and 3M require BASE-R FEC, 4M and 5M require RS-FEC on host ports- Hot-swappable design with 3.3V power supply and low insertion loss for reliable 25 Gigabit Ethernet links
