The FG-TRAN-QSFP-4xSFP-BCC is a drop-in compatible replacement for the Fortinet FG-TRAN-QSFP-4xSFP. This active optical breakout cable provides plug-and-play connectivity for Fortinet systems with QSFP+ ports, enabling 40GB to 4x10GB breakout connectivity using multi-mode fibre.- SFF-8436 (QSFP+) and SFF-8431 (SFP+) compliance ensures standard mechanical and electrical compatibility across vendor platforms- 40GBASE-SR4 aggregate data rate broken out to four independent 10GBASE-SR lanes, each operating over 850nm multi-mode fibre- MPO connector on QSFP+ end to 4x LC duplex connectors on SFP+ ends, supporting OM3 multi-mode fibre infrastructure- Active optical technology eliminates copper signal degradation and EMI concerns while reducing cable weight and improving airflow density in racks- Available in 1M and 5M lengths to support intra-rack and adjacent-rack connectivity without excess slack- Hot-pluggable design with DDM support for real-time monitoring of optical power and cable health per lane
