Description

The FN-TRAN-QSFP+ER-BCC is a drop-in compatible replacement for the Fortinet FN-TRAN-QSFP+ER. This transceiver provides plug-and-play 40 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity in Fortinet switches and routers with QSFP+ ports.- IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-ER4 compliance guarantees interoperability with standard 40G Ethernet equipment- QSFP+ form factor, 40km reach over single-mode fibre, duplex LC connector, 1271/1291/1311/1331nm CWDM wavelengths- Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) support for real-time tracking of optical power, temperature, bias current, and voltage- Four-lane CWDM architecture multiplexes 4x10Gbps electrical lanes onto a single fibre pair for extended reach- Supports OTU3 (43.01Gbps) and STM-256 (39.81Gbps) applications in addition to 40G Ethernet- Operating temperature range 0 to 70 degrees Celsius for standard commercial environments
